National Land Commission

Photogrammetry & Remote Sensing

In this survey digital images undergo processing through specialized software and high-performance computers. The calculation of in-house work and desktop analysis costs hinges on factors including the hardware and software utilized, the personnel and the charges associated with stereoscopic work. The estimated lifespan of instruments and equipment is initially set at five years. Beyond this timeframe, their remaining service life is considered when calculating the expenses associated with the work. It’s worth noting that the NLCS imposes a 20% overhead fee on the actual expenses as included in Annexure 2 of Manual for Fees and Service Charges.
