Geodetic Control Survey

In surveying, precision levels are categorized into three key orders: Zero Order, First Order, and Secondary/Tertiary Order. Zero Order denotes the highest level of precision and accuracy, involving meticulous measurements. First Order surveys, while slightly less precise, still offer high accuracy and are employed in large-scale mapping and engineering projects. Secondary/Tertiary Order surveys have lower precision levels. The classification of surveys into Zero Order, First/Primary Order, and Secondary/Tertiary Order ensures appropriate level of accuracy for different projects, including scope, purpose, and intended outcomes. The NLCS imposes a 35% overhead fee on the actual expenses associated with the survey field work.
